Our Client

The University Health Board of Wales is one of the largest NHS organisations in the UK, providing day-to-day health services for a population of around 500,000 people living in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The UHB is a teaching health board and has strong links with Cardiff University.

Our Process

The use of  soft fabric tones and natural wood tones created a welcoming and relaxing environment for the residents. The injection of modern styling and traditional fabric choices for the seating complimented the overall look.

Our Aim

Funded by charitable donations the Trust wanted to create a new dining and living environment that created a more home-from-home feel. Poppi worked with the project team to achieve their goals and to fast track the installation.

Our Result

The concept was a great success so much so that Poppi has been tasked to deliver similar environments for many of the trusts care homes.

NHS Staff Haven

Our Client

The University Health Board of Wales is one of the largest NHS organisations in the UK, providing day-to-day health services for a population of around 500,000 people living in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. The UHB is a teaching health board and has strong links with Cardiff University.

Our Process

The use of wall art and greenery with delicate colours enhanced the environment. Large variety of seating and tables provided zoned areas whilst still adhering to strict covid protocols and social distancing measures. The project met all its objectives and is a welcome space for everyone who uses the facility.

Our Aim

Funded by charitable donations the Trust wanted to create a “Staff Haven” at Heath Park to provide a calm place for breaks and help wellbeing during the covid crisis. Poppi worked with the project team to achieve their goals and to fast track the installation.

Our Result

The concept was such a success that it has been used as a benchmark for future NHS staff havens.

Adapted House

Our Client

Adapted House is the largest combined children’s services group in the UK. They specialise in working with children and young people who have complex needs.

Our Process

Using the Firenze range for the bedrooms in the new driftwood colour created a contemporary look. Bean bags were used to provide comfy seating for gaming and chill-out areas. Two-tone upholstery in the lounge and dining areas complimented the whole look of the scheme. Clever use of mood lighting enhanced the lounge to provide a calming environment. 

Our Aim

Adapted House selected Poppi Contract Furniture for their newly purchased property in Rotherham. The house was adapted by Acorn to meet the needs of the clients with the ultimate aim of creating a comfortable environment for the new residents. Following a showroom visit, Poppi met with all interested parties of the project to go through the options available.

Residential Care

Our Client

(BMC) is a leading provider of therapeutic residential care, independent education, and integrated clinical services for children and young people with multiple and complex needs.

Our Process

BMCselected the “Scoop Range” as their preferred choice. Security screws, anti-ligature clothes hanging shelves, piano hinges and wipe-clean radius surfaces provide them with all the features they required. Delivery into site and placement in the rooms is paramount to Bryn Melyn Care. We book the deliveries in and meet their fitters on site to complete the installation. We have worked with them for nearly three years providing a quality product and service they can rely on.

Our Aim

Poppi worked closely with the estates team providing bedroom furniture to meet the demands of a challenging environment.

Leeds City Council

Our Client

CBS provides care and support services on behalf of the Council which helps people with learning disabilities to have better lives through the provision of a high-quality, person-centred care and support service. Poppi were selected by Leeds City Council to provide the furniture for their newly refurbished Potternewton Day Centre in Leeds, which is occupied by Aspire Community Benefit Society.

Our Process

Flip-top tables were used in the dining and meeting areas along with modern bentwood stacking chairs in two-tone colour-coordinated vinyls. Easy chairs and tub chairs complimented the seating requirements in a variety of fresh colourful combinations of upholstery. Delivery of over 200 items of furniture were placed into the individual rooms and unpacked ready for the opening in early March.

Our Aim

Working closely with the project team we provided a variety of furniture to meet the needs of the centre. This included consultations and site visits to ensure the project ran smoothly and to the client’s satisfaction

Our Result

“Poppi provided much welcomed advice at each step of the design and ordering process. Delivered on time and installed throughout the building”. Leeds City Council

The project was a great success and Aspire are now using Poppi for a number of satellite centres throughout the region.

High Security Hospital

Our Client

High-security Hospital in Merseyside is one of only three hospitals in the country providing services for patients who require treatment and care in conditions of high security. They care for 228 patients in 14 single-story semi-detached wards arranged in clusters with wide open green areas.

Our Process

We provided consultations to the team and arranged for Panaz to provide a seminar to the infection control team to offer guidance for the features and benefits of the different coverings available. “Baveno Block Foam Seating” was used in areas as an alternative to the heavy-weighted upholstery. “Bead Bags” were also used providing a colorful and relaxing environment for activity and chill out areas.

Our Aim

Poppi Contract Furniture was pleased to introduce our new “Poppi Lounge Seating” to the team who were looking to replace existing seating throughout a number of the wards. Our development of the range met with the team’s requirements for strength, security, design, and comfort.

OFG

OFG’s education and residential services support children and young people with complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) such as Autism (ASC) as well as social, emotional mental health (SEMH), behavioural, physical challenges or a combination of these.

Our Process

We offer a variety of collections to meet client needs. Our challenging ranges have in built security and reinforcement features to meet the demands of the environment. For less challenging areas we have our standard residential ranges which are made to contract specifications.  We offer site visits to go through your particular requirements showing options available. We can also offer a virtual online website presentation providing a one-to-one meeting over the telephone.

Our Aim

Poppi has supplied many of OFG’s establishments throughout the group including Kinsale- Underley Garden-The Shires-The Grange-Wenlock-Acorn Park. We work with the project teams on their new accommodation schemes and also work closely with the individual residential care home managers for their ongoing furniture requirements, what is more we can supply bespoke contract curtains/blinds to match.
